A Fall Wedding at Queen's Landing Hotel

In all the years that we have been photographing weddings, we have seen bouquets not make it to the ladies waiting, pass them completely, not even reach their direct, hit the ceiling and sprinkle down a slew of flowers, but this was a first. She landed it right in the chandelier! It didn't waiver at all, it just landed perfectly, believe me, we were watching. Thankfully one brave young ring bearer got up on his father's shoulders and pulled it down (safely).

Liuna Gardens Wedding Photographer

Genevieve and Robbie were married in St Catharines, Ontario at the Cathedral of Saint Catherine of Alexandria last June. Their close family friend, who is also an officiant, helped them to plan the wedding.

Once upon a time, Cathy used to be a planner herself, but now run Cathy Davis and Company a team of life celebrants (wedding officiants, etc). Since Cathy knew how much love Robbie has for Volkswagen automobiles, she decided to reach out to VW and see if there was anything they would do to surprise them on their wedding day. To her surprise, she received word that they would love to send a VW wagon/ Photo Booth to the reception.

Niagara on the Lake Wedding Photographers: Pillar and Post Inn and Spa

Some people stay engaged for years trying to decide the first big step: large or small wedding. Creating and finalizing a guest list is probably one of the hardest things to planning a wedding, and unfortunately something a planner cannot help with. Wouldn't that be nice though? If they had veto power over all the guests that your mother says you have to invite because "We went to their kid's wedding". That sounds like a dream.

Putting off your wedding shouldn't have to happen. You deserve to have the wedding of your dreams, no matter how big or small. Often times smaller intimate weddings are couples who have been married in the past, they might be a little older, and have kids whom are married themselves.
